Pro Advanced Custom Tiled Shower Kit 32 x 60 with Center Drain
- All the components required to build a fully bonded water tight assembly for tiled showers.
- Includes the highest quality, most innovative and attractive drain system on the market.
- Protects wall cavities against water and vapor penetrations.
- Prefabricated sloped pan eliminates mortar bed, reducing weight and installation time.
- System can use modified thinset for better adhesion and elimination of failure possibilities.
- Install glass tiles with this system where unmodified thinset systems don't allow these materials.
- Membrane tested at 0.07 PERM rating - much lower than required for steam showers!
The videos above provide an excellent general guideline for installation. The 32 x 60 installation video shows the general installation techniques for installing a 32 x 60 kit (video example shows offset installation, but principles are identical). The curb installation in the video shows general installation tips for installing optional curb sections. You may build your own curbs and follow the same general guidelines for waterproofing as shown in the video. Some actual steps may vary or additional steps may be required depending on your specific kit.
The Pro Advanced Custom Shower Kit package includes:
- 1 Shower Tray, 32" x 60" (pan) with center drain
- Total of 108 SF of Waterproofing Membrane (approx. 39.5" wide x 32' 8" long)
- 1 - 33' x 5" or 6" Waterproofing Joint Strip
- 1 Pro Advanced Drain in ABS or PVC with selection from 10 stunning grate cover choices
- 1 Grate Puller (Grate is screwless!) and 1 easily accessed integrated hair trap
- 4 Pre-formed Inside corners
- 1 Tube of waterproofing sealant for failsafe membrane to drain-flange bond
- When Optional Curb is Chosen, Includes 2 Preformed Outside Corners.
